词汇
托福首先要攻克的一关是词汇。关于托福词汇课程,基础比较好的同学可以选择不上这门课,自己按照词根词缀分类法进行背诵。托福词汇本身量相对来说并不是很大。对于一些基础相对薄弱的同学,词汇课会有一些帮助,主要是教会大家从词根词缀来记忆并推测生词词义,还有一些延伸的背词方式。
阅读
托福阅读给出的时间相对比较充裕,平常练习的时间每篇大概满打满算在20分钟之内,不用刻意提升阅读速度,但是在考场的时候由于紧张或者试题难度真的有所变化,末尾一篇差一点没有做完。所以大家平时做练习,控制在每篇18分左右,这样在考场上能留出一些.

单词量一定要强。
首先,我们知道新托福比旧托福有更多的单词。过去,旧托福每篇只有350字,新托福每篇增加到700字。词汇调查仍然是一项重要的任务。词汇比例应为所有阅读主题的1/4左右。如果我们在词汇水平上有一个很好的突破,这将对新托福考试非常有帮助。新的托福低阅读标准也要求我们有大约8000个单词。数量,这样的词汇在美国新生时对学生很有帮助。他们阅读的一般性和广泛性文章不会有任何阅读障碍。
